Business class flights to Lisbon

Lisbon sits closer to the US East Coast than any other continental hub, and its fare structure knows it. TAP Air Portugal built a transatlantic bank on exactly that geography — Newark, Boston, New York, Miami, Washington, Chicago and San Francisco all connect nonstop — and United and Delta contest the trunk routes. A six-and-a-half-hour crossing from Boston makes this the gentlest business-class flight to Europe on the map.

The airline fills its A330neo cabins by pricing assertively through every channel, and its negotiated space is consistently among the cheapest ways to put a flat bed across the Atlantic — frequently underneath quotes to London or Paris for the same dates. Lisbon also constructs well onward: Porto, Madeira and the Azores ride the same ticket, and TAP’s European network reaches Spain, Morocco and Italy against modest add-ons.

The caveat is the airport: Humberto Delgado is capacity-constrained and the morning arrival bank runs slow at immigration.
