Angle-flat seat

A seat that reclines to a flat surface set at an angle to the floor rather than parallel to it. Marketed historically as "flat beds", angle-flat products sleep noticeably worse — gravity pulls you down the slope all night. They survive on older widebodies and some short overnight routes. If a quote looks too good against the market, the aircraft may be the reason; we flag angled cabins explicitly.
