Lie-flat seat

A business-class seat that converts to a fully horizontal bed, as distinct from "angle-flat" recliners that slope toward the floor. On any overnight or double-digit sector, lie-flat is the entire functional argument for the cabin. Modern long-haul business on major carriers is overwhelmingly lie-flat with direct aisle access, but exceptions persist on older aircraft — which is why cabin verification per flight belongs on every quote.
