Corporate fare

A discounted rate an airline contracts with a specific company, tied to that company’s travel volume. Corporate deals discount from published levels — typically single-digit to low-double-digit percentages in premium cabins — and are strongest on routes the company flies constantly. Consolidator contracts routinely price beneath them, which surprises corporate travellers the first time they see a private quote undercut their company rate. The two channels can also combine, one covering what the other does not.
