Minimum connection time (MCT)

The shortest legal transfer an airport-and-carrier pair publishes for a connection to be bookable — 45 minutes here, two hours there, varying by terminal and by domestic-versus-international. The trap in the name: minimum means bookable, not comfortable. MCT assumes an on-time arrival and no gate surprises. We build to the hub’s real geometry instead, and treat sub-hour international transfers as risks to be chosen deliberately, never defaults.
