Open-jaw

An itinerary that flies into one city and home from another — into London, out of Frankfurt — or departs the return from a different origin. On negotiated fares an open-jaw usually prices near the average of the two round trips rather than at a penalty, making it the correct construction for multi-country trips. Forcing a multi-city journey through a single arrival airport is one of the most common self-inflicted costs in premium travel.
