Split ticketing

Deliberately buying a journey as two or more separate tickets — a cheap positioning flight plus a long-haul contract fare, or two one-ways on different carriers. Done well it unlocks real savings; done casually it transfers all disruption risk to you, because no carrier owes you a rebooking across a ticket boundary. Our rule: split only when the saving is large, the connection buffer is honest, and the client understands who owns each leg.
