The 1-2-1 business layout with seats angled away from the aisle — window seats facing the windows, centre seats angled toward each other. It became the workhorse of modern long-haul business (Cathay, American, Air Canada, EVA and many others fly variants) because it delivers direct aisle access, real privacy and a proper flat bed without exotic engineering. If you have no idea what aircraft you are on, a reverse herringbone is usually good news.
